Dr. jur.Dr. Phil. Dr. rer. Pol. Wolfgang Pausch

Wolfgang Pausch is permanent learned advisor with Notos Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater (Notos Lawyers Tax Advisors).

After a three-year apprenticeship in administration Wolfgang Pausch at first studied business economics at the University of Applied Science Nuremberg (diploma in 1971), followed by a study of law and social sciences at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen.

After the first (1977) and second (1980) legal state examination Wolfgang Pausch at first was active with the police headquarters of Frankfurt am Main as head of the department responsible for general policy matters, organisation, administration and disciplinary law.

From 1983 to 1991 he was mandated with the direction of the presidential department of the president of the police headquarters of Darmstadt.

Afterwards (1991 – 1995) Wolfgang Pausch was entrusted by the federal parliamentary group of the SPD (Social Democratic Party) with the duties of a head of the section responsible for the complete areas of “Inner Security” and “Independent Commission Party Property”.

From 1995 to 2008 Wolfgang Pausch was finally appointed head of the administration department of the police headquarters Darmstadt, at the end in the position of a “Regierungsdirektor”.

In 1986 Wolfgang Pausch obtained the degree of “Dr. phil.” at the Johann-Wolfgang-University Frankfurt am Main, in 1997 the degree of “Dr. jur”. at the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen and in 2008 the degree of “Dr. rer. pol.” at the Technische Universitaet Darmstadt.

Wolfgang Pausch is reporter and expert for the following institutions:

• Hessian Police Academy,
• Hessian Auxiliary Police,
• Lecturer at the Administrative University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden in the field of police law,
• Moderator within the scope of the development of executives of the Hessian state administration,
• Direction of - respectively participation in - working groups of the Hessian state administration.

Beside many publications in various professional journals Wolfgang Pausch also is the author of a textbook, of a commentary and a collection of sample case studies (3rd. edition in preparation) with regard to the Hessian laws for security and public order as well as commentator of the police - law -section of the police handbook Retzlaff – Pausch.

Wolfgang Pausch is available for Notos as a consultant in the whole area of general and special administrative law, especially with regard to public employment law, civil service law, disciplinary law, police law, staff representation and with regard to the law referring to members of the state and federal parliaments.

More-over Wolfgang Pausch is member of the Notos-live-group “Politics and Public Relations” and advises political parties, governments, parliamentary groups, holders of seats or political mandates in Land and Federal Parliaments / Governments as well as enterprises and associations on federal-, land- and community levels.
